Beats me how anyone can put 'nice' and 'snake' next to each other in the same sentence, lol!
Sorry, this pic doesn't do anything for me, it doesn't say 'movement' to me I'm afraid.

Ok Nigel this shot gives me more of a feeling of fear than movement , but there again if that was in front of me then I'd be off like a shot,
keep your shutter speed slow , either by increasing the F stop or using shutter priority

Movement i was trying too get at was the pinkie mouse going down the snake. took about 10 shots and this was the best of a bad bunch.
I been told the snake wont get fed now untill next wednesday or thursday so i will have another go at getting a decent shot of a snake feeding lol

I would guess that the movement you were trying to convey would be slow and rhythmic and very difficult to capture. Makes me feel squeamish but good on you for trying.
