30 years old this month-the camera that is-and if you look at the top-end of the market you will find this classic style being replicated,so it must have had something good,right. Bought just before i got married so it recorded our history for the first couple of decades until digital cameras came along.
When seeing your picture, Des, I can feel all the nostalgy around this old camera. The red silk emphasize the retro style of this nice composition. Maybe the fashion is an eternal return? This camera is retired but is it still in working order?

Yvan,its still operational- i gave my brother a lend of it and he dropped it so needs a bit of a service. I have a 200 mm lens for this-an old manual type that you have to stop down to get the correct light reading,then out to focus in natural light,and when you are ready to take the shot,close it again.,certainly not a point and shoot but took some stunners with it.regards
