What a cracking shot, how lucky to get such a clear view of the bird. Was at Dungerness RSPB last weekend and fortunate  to see a bittern in flight from one of the hides but not quick enough with the camera sadly.

I'm in awe of your ability to capture a glimpse of such a beauty.I'm as clumsy as an ox and can never get close enough to birds to take even reasonable shots,but this is stunning.Well taken,seems scant praise,but it is truly intended.A superb shot.
